So did Kaidynce, but I only did the front of her hair, and left it in for only 5 mins, lol.. she looks to friggen cute!



Yup, when I was told I want to shave my legs and dye my hair.. I picked the lesser of 2 evils!!

Summer Fun!

We decided today, to just up and go to the beach... we usually don't just think of something and go, we usually plan to go. So it was nice to just go! We took the kids down to a local 'beach'.. it's really not a beach anymore.. but the kids had a blast! I took a ton of pictures..

Well, that was fun!!

Mostly...
I'm back from 9 days at the cottage with hubby, the kids, some friends and neighbours.. between rain, kids that didn't want to get along, and some other hurdles, I managed to have a pretty good time.
Got some good pictures too!!

This one is my FAVE!! It is of our neighbour, Gary and my youngest. Gary, is the neighbourhood grandfather... just loves the kids to pieces... Here he is teaching Kaidynce how to fish!

Our New Baby... AND! Blog Candy!!

We got a new Baby! His name is Max... just a wee lil guy! He looks huge in this picture, but that's because our Fat Man, Joe is sunken down in the cushion and way behind him, lol. What a crazy but welcome addition to our zoo... we're now at 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets and an Umbrella Cockatoo.. Phew! No room for people! LOL!

So EXCITING!!!

For me anyways!!

Today my husband and I went for a walk downtown and all of a sudden he's pulling me in a different direction... there in front of us is a TAPS van!! OK, we've been fans of Ghost Hunters since they've first started! They were here, ( ONT) filming at our Fort Henry for 7 days and heading home today! We didn't meet the crew but met a member for the production team.. of course I had my pic taken beside the van. Holy make my day! I bet if I met the crew I would have passed out, LOL!!

Been gone awhile.. (and BLOG CANDY)

So, now I'm back... lol. I had a very UN-fun 3 week stay at the hospital... don't worry I'm all good :D

Day 9's picture..

I almost forgot to capture a picture today... I caught Kaidynce again before supper... she was out front drawing with sidewalk chalk (if you look real close you can see it on her forehead, lol) ... I suppose she didn't want to be a model today, lol..

Day 6, 7 and 8's pictures...

We spent the weekend at the cottage.. I somehow ended up there in my slippers and forgot my shoes! lmao!

Day 5's Picture.. And a couple layouts!

This is my child who would rather run screaming from the camera, than stand in front of it. She hates the flash, and if the flash can't be avoided, a good picture of her can be. She had a brilliant idea to have me take a picture of her wearing sun glasses... I suppose it worked! lol.
I also have a feeling we are entering the 'I'm cool' phase in life... ahhhh isn't 8 sweet!

Day 4's picture... And Blog Candy...

I really need to get working on some layouts.. it's been a rough week around here with the passing of our friends lil one (5 months old) :( . It's been quite sad around here..

Anyways, I took this picture yesterday... I guess I'm cheating posting it today as today's picture.. but it looks the same today anyways, lol.

I'm not sure the name of this flower, but a little patch of them grow every year in our front garden. I decided to play on a setting on my camera while enjoying the sun yesterday. The actual flower is smaller than a dime... so I think my camera did not so bad...

A New Day... .

A new picture! And perhaps a perfect one to put on a layout! This is of my youngest daughter, it’s her off day from school today, so in turn she is my lucky model! An unknowing one, that is. Is there anything more peaceful than pictures of sleeping babies or kids? I didn’t think so! She tired herself out cleaning her room today… I’m sure her room was just played in and she’ll recruit her sister and brother to help her once they’re off school and she’s refreshed..
